Title: Which directory does install file go in ?

Newbie here. I have read the documentation and looked around in the forum.

The install directions say:
"Second, download the version of Tiny Portal you wish to use (latest release recommended) from:<URL>"

There are two problems with this:
1. It doesn't say where to download the file to.
2. The file is a "zip" file. My Account is a Linux account. I changed the file to gzip and went through the install script but undoubtedly wasn't in the right directory because when I try to finalize the install in SMF, It doesn't see the TP.

Please advise

You install TP though your SMF package manager, upload the zip in the package manager, click on apply mod, and it is done.
