Title: How to remove expand/collapse images?
Post by: brianjw on August 18, 2008, 01:46:05 AM
TP Version: 1.0.5 Beta 1

What file should I edit to remove the collapse and expand buttons? They're like built into TP this time.

Thanks,
Brian

OK, it's there. Thanks IchBin. :)
I found instances of 'TPselect' in that file, but I am not sure what to remove.

Any ideas?

G6,

The only thing I found in a search for expand collapse remove was this topic; http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=25213.0 and my topic.

The other topics that were listed were from like an entire year ago and the expand/collapse is different from 0.9.8 and other past versions.

The problem is 2/3 of those were from last year (TP 0.9.8 <- lol cool smiley popped up) and that was when expand/collapse was located in the index.template.php. They are now located in TPortal.php and I found the code, I just don't know what to remove in the code so I don't break anything lol.

Thanks Smoky  :up:

Trial and error Brian, mark the code bits out a part at the time until you have the desired effect you looking for.
If you just mark the code out with eather

// code here, or

/* code here */ you will not break anything as the code will still be there to keep on edit.
