Hi Everyone,
I am just wondering if its somehow possible to change the URL Names..
e.g. this page http://www.bu-community.com/index.php?page=60 (http://www.bu-community.com/index.php?page=60) instead of showing page=60 is it possible to change it to http://www.bu-community.com/index.php?partners (http://www.bu-community.com/index.php?partners) or even better http://www.bu-community.com/partners (http://www.bu-community.com/partners)? or something similar to that???
Sorry totally noob question and might be silly but am just wondering if its possible... or is there some other way apart from using tp that I can create a page like this?
Thanks :)
Only if you make articles and name the articles in the article creation page "custom action"
But this will only be for TP V1.0.5 and only for articles.
G6 thank you! will have to wait until I update. Thanks :)
Currently you do have the option in the Edit screen of each article to insert a title. Query title: partners
Then you can now call that page with this URL:
http://www.bu-community.com/index.php?page=partners
Not quite what you want, but it's better than just a number.
There has been discussion of prettyfying URLs in TP, but as G6 said, that won't happen just yet.
ZTN, thank you!! better than nothing and I am more than happy with that!! THANK YOU!!
btw good luck with the quitting! i did it myself not that long ago! :)
Duplicate Content risks of using identical url ??
