Hello, can someone help me figure this out? Basically, I create a new article and I set it to display on the front page. I also add text and stuff to it. The problem then is that whenever its enabled and I go to the front page, it then displays all of the forums and no article. Without the article the front page does not show the forums. Why isnt my article showing up?

You need to give us the information on what versions you are using, take a look at the posting guideline... it clearly lays out what you need to include in the 'posting template'.

frosthowl, you really need to follow the guidelines. You provide versions, but what about your settings? What are your frontpage settings? How are your articles setup? Are they in categories? Have you tried any different settings for the frontpage? What have you done to try and figure it out?

Eather you have to set your frontpage to show Forum posts and articles and not featured articles as you have now.
Or you have to set the ONE article you want to show on your frotnpage as featured.
Start by changing the frontpage settings to Articles and frontpage block ( second choice )
I tried both of those things but neither of them helped. =/
Also, the only option was to set it to articles and forum posts. There was no articles and front blocks.
Did you put your articles in Categories?
Yep, and I only have on article, "featured". Im willing to give you admins a temporary admin account to see if you can figure out my problem.

EDIT: let me know which article you need to show on the front page.

All of your settings appear to be OK, but your front page is not showing and your error log has 160+ pages of errors... this on a new and empty forum. That would suggest that you install didn't work as needed so the first thing would be to check your TP file and edits to be sure that they are uploaded and correct. At the link below you can find the instructions for the manual install, its easy to do just go through that to insure that all the TP files and edits are in place.
