Thanks for the replies. I know converting from 0.9.8 to beta 1 requires deletion of 0.9.8. Any idea if future upgrade from beta 1 to beta 2 will require deletion of beta 1?

Hi IchBin, does deleting 0.9.8 also automatically delete all the 0.9.8 themes or just make them inoperable?
Deleting TP will not delete anything in your themes. Uninstalling TP 0.9.8 will only take the edits out of the default and babylon theme if it uninstalls correctly. It shouldn't touch custom themes.

I am dying for this beta to come out, No offense to you guys but Beta 1's article manager is nearly unusable for the purposes I use it for,. I am taking what I consider a large step back and I have crashed my site a couple times trying to remove beta 1 already and go back to 0.98, and I will be crashing my site again tonight trying to do it again.
Beta 2 looks like it may be far more solid based on what I am seeing on this site, but for now I am going to have to give up on the beta versions and go back to what works. Not everything is bad, I love where you are going with it, some of the newer features are just fantastic... but right now releasing any kind of an update would be extremely helpful.
Yes, I know, I used a beta and it is what it is so 99% of the problems I am having are probably my own fault. Also, I am not trying to discourage or knock you guys at all, I love your software, but this is the first time I have given up on something SMF/TP.
Point of my post... I am really looking forward to Beta 2.
A release is due when Bloc feels it's ready. Bloc have revreitten a lot of things between beta 1 and 2 and thats why it taking time to update as the Alpha testing of beta 2 is still in progress.
