So far its working great but I'm trying to add some code for a mod but with all the new changes I cant seem to find the file I need, if it even exists anymore.
Anyway... the stats block for the user online code is where I'm trying to add my little snipped. So where would find the following code.
echo $bullet.$txt['tp-users'].': '.$online['num_users'];
echo '<br />'.$bullet.$txt['tp-guests'].': '.$online['guests'];
Did you look in the TPBlocks.template.php file?
I found it the <li> crap was throwin me off lol... on a related note what happened to the bullets that use to be beside the user info if you know what I'm talkin about.
What do you mean by what happened? Of course, they were changed. Hence, the reason you see a <li> now. :)

Well if the <li>'s are supposed to be the bullets then how come I'm not seein em ;-(

Not seeing them where ?
The bullits besides the lines in the users block are visible on the sites i checked.
Probably something missing in your custom template ?

Under stats where it says users online next to users, guests and spiders etc... Thats where theyre supposed to be that Im not seein em. Also I thought TP 1.0.5 accepted non TP themes just fine because thats a non TP theme and everything appears fine outside of missing bullets. So what I need a tp converted theme for bullets to show ?
Edit: Compare the stat block here (http://www.politicalchaos.net/index.php) to the stat block here (//http://) and you'll see the difference between them where bullets should be that arent, and a fw other small missing things like the images that should be beside members, stats and users online but arent. Also a signifigant difference in block text size. I dont know if all this weird stuff is because of the theme but if it is then I guess tp 1.0.5 accepts themes as is but doesnt make a site look like it would if u used a converted theme.
TP has just supressed the bullets from showing on the <li>.
ul.tp_recentblock, .tp_statsblock ul {
font-size:0.9em;
list-style-image:none;
list-style-position:outside;
list-style-type:none;
margin:0pt;
padding:0pt;
}
list-style-type is where you would tell it to be square/circle. etc. BUT!, changing this you'll notice that you'll have to go edit the code for the block to actually allow the bullets to appear inside it, instead of outside it. Play with it, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Well you obviously know more than I do lol, but in either case why would the bullets show in the block above and not the one in question. That aside can you atleast tell me what file(s) I need to play with please, and as for me figurin that out on my own. I'd make things worse before I made them better ;-(
Edit: Also what about the three missing icons / images... you'll see what I mean when comparing the blocks from the two dif sites, Thx.

They show in the other block because it has the css telling it to do so.
.tp_userblock ul {tp-style.css (line 433)
font-size:1em;
list-style-image:url(images/tinyportal/TPdivider.gif);
list-style-position:outside;
list-style-type:disc;
margin:0pt;
padding:5px 0pt 5px 1.5em;QuoteThat aside can you atleast tell me what file(s) I need to play with please, and as for me figurin that out on my own. I'd make things worse before I made them better ;-(
Certainly, you'll need to look in the TPBlocks.template.php in your default theme. I would suggest you copy that file to your custom theme so that you don't fubar the default theme. :)

I don't see what you mean because I don't know which block you're talking about. More than likely, they are just different from TP 0.9.8 to TP 1.x
Ehh, best I could do is fix font sizes... I give up ;-/
As for the images, check here...
http://www.choice-online-gaming.com/EoJForum/index.php - No images under stats block...
http://www.politicalchaos.net - - Three images under stats block
Those are the image icons I was talkin about
Ah yes, those were in the different versions as I pointed out. You can find the stats block in the TPBlocks.template.php file to put the images back if you need.
Well, I got some of it worked out but one thing I cant figure out... everytime I think I'm close im not.
http://www.politicalchaos.net
If you check outthat link and view the Stats block you'll see that divider line(s) that seperate Members, Stats & Users Online etc... well I cant figure out what I need to do in either the css of the TPBlocks.template.php file
Also, so I can use as a reference where is the css for 0.9.8 which is what the "reference" forum is using.
The divider will probably have to be an < hr /> tag to great the line. In TP 0.9.8 the styles were added to the style.css file in the default theme. They needed to be added to the style.css file of the custom theme as well. Most of what you see in that stats box wasn't controlled from the style.css in TP 0.9.8 though (I think). It was controlled by the TPortalBlocks.template.php in that TP version.
Well, I'm still at it but no luck yet on those lines...
You need more wine than blood i'd say?
