I can understand why it the last topic was locked.

We are not going to do this for you, but you can follow the guide:

http://docs.tinyportal.co.uk/index.php?topic=115

If this topic goes the same way as the last one, I guess this will be locked too.

What didn't work?

This is the reason your last topic was locked. "It didn't work".

I don't mean to be rude.. But have you read anything, anything at all that has been suggested to you?

It seems to me you haven't.

TaC, I had a feeling you were young, we wasn't sure. regardless of age, we have members here who are around the same age as yourself.

The way it works here.. You help us to help you. We don't have magic wands.

If you want to be serious enough to run a forum/website.. you are going to have to seriously listen, read and start doing a few things.. Dig in. It won't hurt you.

You're right TaC there are lots of posts here on TinyPortal, but you don't really need to read them all. Actually you only need to read a few of them in order to learn how to build and run your forum.

The main thing at this point is to identify an issue on your site, post here and plainly state your issue so that we can help you get it sorted out.

If you follow the posting guide that should help you make a good question for us to act on because the posting guide will lay out all of the info we need to give you the correct help. From there its just a matter of trying the steps we direct you to and hopefully fix your site.
Yes a little reading will be required, but not all that much.

Don't worry about it, we've all been there.

Your first issue to fix is the missing text in your TinyPortal controls so try the link that ZTN posted just before your last post and work on the missing text... everything else needs to wait until that's fixed.

Good deal.

Do you still have an issue with your forum button?
If you do... Please read the Posting Guidelines (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=581)
Give us the info called for in the posting guidelines and we'll be able to help you sort out the button problem.
Thanks.

I'm not sure this is an issue, but maybe concerning TaC's age and experience, we may be assuming to much. I have the same problem with other inexperienced web users.
In some of the replies to your ask for help TaC,  Ken, ZTN  and others are posting a link in their message for you to follow which will provide you more information. It will show as a different color and when you hover your mouse over that area of text, you will notice it highlighted in one way or another, depending on the theme you are using on this site. Right click on that link and open it in a new window or tab, that way you still have the original thread to follow in another window.
Please take no offense, I'm just trying to make sure the basics aren't missed here.
I am not part of the support here, but I do have kids around the same age, and I often assume they know much of the same basics as I do, which is often not the case.

You don't need to do that. Just left click as you would any other link. A new window will open automatically.

Or the middle click in firefox to open it in a new tab is a cool feature. :D
