Hi!
When editing the settings for the front page, you can only choose "Show front page blocks" and "Show articles and fron page blocks" (And the others, which has nothing to do whit front page blocks).
I want to show all articles, the posts from a specific forum, and the front page blocks.
When creating blpoxks you can choose the actions to show them in, but you can't choose "Frontpage".
Could I write something in the "custom action name" box to make what I want?

What version of Tiny Portal are you using?
There are different ways of going about what you want, depending what your looking for.
If you have "Forum-posts and articles - sorted on date" checked, your Frontpage Blocks should still be shown as long as you set them to be visable.
I'm using 0.9.8

How many items have you set the frontpage to show ? Default is 5 if i remember correctly
Does that number affect the front page blocks?
It started t owork when I checked "Frontpage blocks are showed first".
But now, is it possbile to make a fronpage blokc which is displayed to the left / right? i don't want it to be like a center block, but still want it to just be showed at the front page.
No, not in TP V098. The frontpage block are only shown on the frontpage, thats why they are called frontpage blocks :)
The left and right panels can be shown on the frontpage if you set the panels to show there, but they will still be left and right side blocks. :)
That was what I ment, can I make right and keft blocks show on frontpage only?
In the panel settings you can turn the left/right panels off while in the forum.

Would be nice if you'd make up your mind. lol
You're going to have to find a work around to get what you want. We can't give a solution to everyones needs unfortunately.
I think im starting to get a picture od what you want. you want to show some blocks only on the frontpage, and then other blocks only in the forum ( left right panels on both frontpage and then in the forum ) ?
HM, wonder how that came out, but it looks good in my head though :2funny:
In tp V098 you cant display some blocks on the frontpahe and the rest in the forum, and keep them in your left and right panel. You can however make the blocks display when viewing a frontpage article. That way they will only display when that article is looked at. However it will still not be quite what you are asking for if i understand this now.
I know this is some work, but can you somehow draw a picture for us so we can see what your asking if i didnt got you right this time ?
Actually I've got what I wanted already:
I disabled the right panel in the forum, and then added the blocks I wanted on the frontpage to the right block. :P
This way the right blocks are only showed were I want them - on the frontpage.
If I would ever need to have both right and left blocks on the frontpage, and other right and left blocks in the forum, I'll write here again, and try to make it esier for you to understand ;)
