Hello everybody,

So for y few days I'm fighting with TP 0.983, but I'm happy it's now installed and working... But for the moment I donnot use the TP functionality, I only use the SMF forum, that was integrated in my standard HTML website. On side I build my new website and will make it available for every user as soon as the content will be OK.

So I would like to know if it's possible to have  a box in my frontage that display the X first articles of one specific category (News). So we could just edit one new "News" article in the TP and make it automatically available for the visitors.

I have already found the "articlecategory" box type, but unfortunately it just display the title of the articles, not the whole text...

Any idea or suggestion for me ??  ;) ;D

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish. It would help if you first followed the guidelines.

From the looks of it, you want a block with article titles in it? Articles will only display on the frontpage if you turn on the setting in each article.

Sorry if my question was not correctly asked... So I'm on TP 0.983 and MSF 1.1.5

Be sure that I searched through all the "Search" possibilities but I could not find anything that really seems to solve my problem...

So in fact my needs is quite simple, but I donnot know if this feature is possible in TP. I have a Category called "News". In this "News" category some members of our club will create articles with... news that should be visible by anyone that comes on the website (so in the FrontPage).

I found the ArticleCategory" box func that shows the titles of the "News" category, working fine, but I only see the titles of the articles... and as you can understant, I would like to have the whole text of the news and non only the title.

So I suppose that I could modify this ArticleCategory function, but if something already exists, as I'M not a crack in coding, it would be great...

I did not provide the website url because it's not live yet...
Do you have an idea ???

So are your articles displaying on the frontpage the way you want them to? Where are you displaying the category box? And why do you need them to display the whole article in a block? I need to know what you're trying to accomplish and where etc.
