I have installed it previously, but I could not find my forums anywhere including the direct forum link, it simply gave me the portal page.

Is there any way of having the portal on a 'home' page and then a seperate forum page ? As it previously just 'overwrote' the forum page.

I am a pretty new user at TP, so all help is appreciated.

For TP 1.0.5 Beta, this is not a requirement.

Thanks I have upgraded to the latest version, but still I have 'lost' all links to my forum, its completly replaced the forum rather than some examples Ive seen, stuff like the shoutbox at the sides and the forum in the centre.

The shoutbox have been moved to modules inside your TP admin, You need to install any of the 2 shoutboxes in the modules settings. And then create a new block called TP Modules block and import the shoutbox ( there will be a catbox for the shoutbox when you create the block ) and save the block.

The panels will also have to be activated along with your other blocks.
If you look in your TP admin, you will see the changes made and what new settings you have at your hands now :)
