Hi guys.
Sorry to bother all of you but I have a smf forum (1.1.5) with TP 0.9.8 installed. Everything is in English so how do I install the swedish language?
Thanks.
PS. Yes, I am a noob when it comes to these things...
You need to download the SMF swedish package from SMF forums.
And you need to download the Swedeish package for TP from our download section.
Extract both packages on your local PC, and then through FTP, you upload the files to the Themes/Default/Language folder.
Then in your Admin panel with in SMF, you go to Configuration/Serversettings and there you change the default language to Swedish.
Hoppas detta hjälper dig ?

Aa det skulle det ju kunna men jag har redan fixat själva SMF delen till svenska. Jag var nog lite otydlig men det finns ju språkfiler till själva Tinyportal. Hur installerar jag det?
In English: I've already installed the language pack for the SMF part but there are also language for the Tinyportal part, how do I install that?
I told you in my first post ;)
Download the package from our downloadsection and extract the files to your local PC, upload them through FTP to /themes/Default/language folder and thats it.

But when I do that (change the language to swedish), The Tinyportal part where you add articles and such, is missing. I'm sorry, but I'm a complete noob :/
make sure you use the same encoding for the files.
If you have your forum set to use utf8 you must have the utf8 language package
If you have the forum set to use ISO ( non utf8 ) you download the package with out the utf8 encoding.
You have 2 Swedish language files in the download section, the easiest way wold be to download both of them and extract and upload the files in them to your default/languages folder and then set the language in your Admin/Configuration/Server Settings

I have my forum set to use utf8 and yes, I downloaded and uploaded the swedish utf8. The whole forum is in swedish, except the Tinyportal part.
Admin/Configuration/Server settings.
Set the forum to use Swedish only, not utf8

Exactly the same thing, the tinyportal thing in the admin panel doesn't show up.
If it doesent show, you havent uploaded the files correctly.
Make sure you extract the files from the zip and that you actually UPLOAD them to the correct direction on the server through FTP.
It's not the ZIP file you should upload, it´s the files INSIDE the zip
The location of the language files are Themes/Default/languages/ add the EXTRACTED files into this folder.
If you cant solve it, please read this
