I just upgraded my forum to SMF 1.1.5 and went to install the 1.0.5 Beta. Failed on the automatic install. Here's how it went:

Uploaded file, selected Apply Mod on Admin Packages page
Actions 1-7 (extract tree)
Action 8 Execute code
Actions 9-24 Test Successful
[Install Now]

Database Error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query
File: /home/content/s/t/r/strive2excel/html/SMF/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 2008

Went back to admin page and tried again to Apply Mod

Actions 1-7 (extract tree)
Action 8 Execute code
Actions 9-24 Test Successful
[Install Now]

Same error message.

Perhaps I'll try a manual install. Not sure why the SQL server connection was lost.

Didnt see you read the posting guide cause of the missing points we need to know according to the guide.
Also, you posted in a non related topic to your isse.

Please read the sticky in the support board, apply the things we need to know, and also, please use the search cause this issue have been coverd several times now.
