Title: I have searched and could still use some help
Post by: Scorch on May 15, 2008, 08:07:14 PM
ok here it is........I have a fresh install of SMF 1.1.5 using the default theme and English language and I can't get TP to install. I have tried both manual and via the package manager and I get this error on both accounts?

# Upshrink table created
# Settings table created
2: mysql_num_rows(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource
File: /home/content/l/y/n/lynea/html/forums/Packages/temp/tp_install.php
Line: 173

Now I have seen errors like this posted before here, but the answer was to upgrade your SMF version.......well I already have the lastest?

Maybe I missed something in my searching here, but after 2 hours of reading I haven't found my answer. Can anyone help?

When doing the manual install, you do not use the tp_install.php file. You need to make sure you run the manual_tp_install.php for that.
