When we now try and send a PM no matter what you type in the recipient’s box it will auto change to Admin 1 name. The only way you can get around this is by selecting the “ Find Members†option and then selecting the member from there. If I uninstall TP then it works like normal once again? SMF 1.1.4
Please read and provide the needed info according to our posting guide we have for the dsupport board, you find in as a sticky topic.

Check the members profile mod and make sue the code from both that and TP got added correctly when you installed them.
Most likly you have missing or broken code in the Sources/profile.php file.
For TP you can check the code with the help from the docs and modification instructions, for the other mod you need to check with SMF and the mods thread there.
Is it possible that I could post the Sources/profile.php file.here for you to look at. I must admit I would not actually know even if it bit me if any of the code was missing :'( ;D
Well, even if you post your file here, we would only be able to check the TP part of the code in there, you have more then 2 mods that changes that file so you have to check the strings manually anyway.
Replace the file and add in the TP code manually, and then the same for your other mods.
For the other mods you need to contact the mod authors to help you with them.
Ok will do thanks for the help
I was having the same issue where the member name changes to "admin" when addressing a PM, but now it has stopped and doesn't auto-fill the name at all any more.
SMF 1.0.5
TP 1.052
Please read the Posting Guidelines (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=581)
Add some more info please. Other mods and theme are very important for us to know about.

SMF version: 1.0.5
TP version: 1.052
Theme name and version: Helios Multi TP
Mods installed: TP only
Issue: PM addressing problem. See above.
This has been replicated on FF2, FF3 and IE7.
For the record, here on this forum I can't get the PM auto-fill to work using the Helios theme either!
Can anyone else replicate the PM auto-fill issue on the TP forum using the Helios Multi theme?
Well, that's weird. Now, I can't replicate it here either. ???
BUT, on my site it's back to changing everything to "admin". Any ideas?
ttt
Sorry, just want to get a solution. I didn't know if anyone was even looking at this issue anymore since there were no replies since 7/7. :(
