You DO use ONLY the default theme ( SMF Core ) when you install TP and test things.
You MUST have everything working with the defaults before you use any other theme on your site.

If you have only Defaults ( English, Default Core  Theme ) and still have this issue, go through the manuall install guide for SMF 1.0.5 ( really make sure the modinstructions are for that version )
And also make sure you have ALL the tp files added correctly.

If you want to find the solution im affraid you have to compare all the tp files your self and see if you can find the solution.
We are going forward with TP v1.0.6 now, and will not spend more time in TP v1.0.5, it's "old" now.

It's not meant to be rude, but just facts, we need to take the little time we have on our hands and look forward, not mess with the old and past.
