Before testing it on the my forum online, I ask you: after using TP 1.0 for a few months, may I go back to 0.9.8.3 without any problems?
or there are changes on TP tables on DB not reversible?

Go back is not possible if you dont have a complete backup of both the DB and all the files before you upgrade to the new version.
However, even with backups, you will loose the posts made since the upgrade.
I suggest you make a test site and install what you want to test there instead of using it on a live site.
If you are happy with the test site, then you dont have to worry about add the old back again.
