i was wondering if its possible to have a block which would show how many members the forum has with say a small flag of there country ie usa 198 with flag or 101 uk with flag etc.

If you have some way of determining which country each member is from, yes. Do you have anything like that installed?

There's a mod called CountryFlags that you can install. Take a look at that and see if it's something that you want to use. The mod includes images for flags.
