I am not sure where this problem is arising, basically in the admin panel everything works however when trying to access any of the tinyportal admin pages other than downloads in firefox it just tries to download index.php to disk or in Safari or IE gives me a page not found error.
I have noticed this happening with certain other things could it be to do with the php version being 5.14?

it usually means that you didnt upgrade the db correctly
extract the tp package and take then upload and overwrite existing files through FTP. Make sure they do get overwritten. Then point the browser to manual_tp_install.php . it will update the db.
By overwrite existing files, which directory/ies?

when you extract the package, the structure is allready set so you dont have to worrie as long as it's uploaded to the same directory as you have your forum installed to.

Did you upload all the files to ? and also, did you add the codestrings into the SMF files with the help of our modinstructions ?
Well I went through all of the mod steps but now I am just getting a blank screen :-\
I must have done something wrong somewhere.
I have now fixed that problem, had to find out how to turn on error reporting from fasthosts and it was just a bad copy/paste job :)
However after doing all of that the problem is still there any link clicked in the tp section other than downloads and it does not work :(
I have looked around and found nothing, is it just the pathetic fasthosts server?
Right well if someone could please verify this may be the case, after takin goff the compression I recieved an error that the filesize of just over 8mb was too big, does this now mean it will work as long as that limit is increased?

Sorry about that, we were in a rush for a client, I have resolved the issue as it was the limit of the max script size being 8mb, which can only be discovered when you remove compression!
