After trying out the beta i felt that there were a few problems that messed up the layout, so i decided to downgrade and try it again at a later time. Everything seems fine, until the fact that even if modules are enabled to be shown for a page, it will just leave the column open (In my case, the right column).
Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks :)
You're going to have to explain more of what you're settings are. It looks like your have not turned off the panel for the frontpage, but you don't have any blocks showing. I don't see what modules have to do with it.
There is no downgrading on TP I learned...it seems to move the data to a new entry in your DB and ATM there is no downgrade, but most can be fixed I am very sure....so a bit more info would be required....but TP 0.98 to TP 1.05 changes your DB files so going back isn't a smooth ride
As Mr Anubis say, there are no way to downgrade from a new install.
What you can do is to use a backup of your DB ( before the install if any) and replace all the files with how you had your setup before the upgrade to TP 1.0.5
Yes, I have the same problem.
I upgraded from SMF 1.1.6 / TP 0.983 to
TP 1.052 but there were errors
cause I also used some special frontpage, etc...
Now I wanted to go back to SMF 1.1.6 / TP 0.983
but now NO more blocks and no more panels are showing up...!
Damn...
You really need to write a script to downgrade also the database.
Lucky me, that I still made a backup of the database before upgrading...
Although it is very hard to reimport a 205 Mbytes database again with my
ISP provider...
If you have a DB that large, one thing you should do before exporting it is to make sure your error logs are empty. This can some times save you a TON in file size. For large databases I would recommend using Bigdump for importing as well.

Oh and I'd also like to say, NO WAY on the downgrade script. lol People should be smart enough to have backups before they try an upgrade. They should also be smart enough to try this on a test site before they upgrade their live site.
This is the issue I'm having. I didn't like the formatting and some text issues on 1.0.*, then tried going back, the blocks and panels wouldn't show.
Here is the topic I made. http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,30013.0.html
What can be done?
Basically, the difference in blocks for TP 0.9.x and TP 1.0.x is that in 0.9 it was ASSUMED that blocks with nothing in the "access" field should show everywhere, while in TP 1.0 they would NOT show at all then. Which is more logical.
One solution for that is simply go through all blocks in the database and remove whats in the access field, then set those that show on particular pages to that again.I suspect many blocks would only have "actio=allpages" in them, that must be removed totally for TP 0.9 to show the blocks.
The other thing is that panel calls in TP 1.0 are different, because TP 1.0 is using layers, making the panels not needed to be added to custom themes. TP 0.9.x DO require changes to the theme, so you need to check your index.template and see if the "leftbar" etc. calls are there or not.
