I've made a navigation block for my site. I wanted to increase the font size of just that block and used the following code...
<size=14pt><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=index">Home</a>
<br><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=forum">Forum</a>
<br><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=profile">Profile</a>
<br><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=pm">My Messages</a>
<br><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=calendar">Calendar</a>
<br><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=links">Links</a>
<br><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=mlist">Members</a>
<br><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=search">Search</a>
<br><a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=help">Help</a></size>
As you can see I've inserted the size of 14pt but it made no changes.
Anyone have a solution.
Thanks
Henry
The block texts are defined in the themes style.css file, have a look in there and change the size there.
OK,
I am looking through the CSS, and there are several different references regarding the text sizes. What are the standard sizes...
x-small,small, medium, large, x-large.
or
small, middle, normal, ?
Thankyou
could try:
Quote<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4,5,6></h>
Rather:
<a href="http://unboundkillerz.com/smf/index.php?action=index"><h1>Home</h1></a><br />
To increase the font size the way you are using the code it needs to be <font size="14pt"> and not <size="14pt">
or bbc : [ size=14pt ] Home [ / size]
Thanks, I was having some strange stuff happing. I'll try these and then go back through my css and get the admin section back to normal size..... :o
Just tried the font size=16pt both with <> and [] but neither worked. I went back and tried </b > and everything went to bold. Not sure why but its a start.
