Hello,

I am working on a webzine for the "Casual Geek", and thus know a bit about PHP and SQL, but not as much as others. Also, since it is a webzine, I have authors creating articles and such. As I am filling the role of 'editor' I am creating these articles, formatting them to the page, and then changing ownership over to the users. This I figured out as a simple change in the MyPhPAdmin. Access smf_tp_articles pick the article you want and change the author_id and author respectively.

What I can't figure out is this.... I need to change the date that the article was 'created' so that it reflects when the newest issue of the webzine is published. In the date section, I have the following that sets it as March 18'th, 12:10:00 AM

1205813400

What is the breakdown for month, day, year, and time? For example I want to set it to read "March 31'st, 12:00:00 AM" which will be when I activate it and launch my site.

Its a unix timestamp and I think you would need to change it to 1206979200
Though I dont know if it will have any consequences because its set in the future.

A handy little tool is at http://www.onlineconversion.com/unix_time.htm which converts readable dates to unix timestamps and vice versa. It's one of those things that is good to keep in your Favorites list.
