We can't redistribute files, you'll have to follow the Manual Installation guide and download the Manual Installation package in the downloads section.

Try uploading and running this (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item743)

To Run it
Upload it to your forums's root directory where index.php and Settings.php are, and point it via your browser. Make sure to delete it after that.

Just to be clear about the SQL file, there are no SQL file within any TP package, you have a PHP file that will execute the install of SQL tables.
The file is called manual_tp_install.php for the manuall package

If you cant install things to your database, first make sure you are on the correct database, and second, if you are, you have to check with your host why you cant add things to your SQL

We dont HAVE a sql file for tp.
The install sql file are included in both tp packages, in that file called  manual_tp_install.php
You have the actions for the DB install in that file.
Open the file and copy the sql actions and manually add it to your SQL with help from phpmyadmin.

If you cant get it to work, you HAVE to consult your server host and ask them why you cant install anything to your database.  We cant do more for you them we have at this point.

If you are not able to run the install OR the manual install, you need to ask your host WHY. We cannot help you any further.

I have the same problem, everything says the installation is ok, but nothing in database and no TP in forum, it's not even build the folders on the server. SMF is working fine and other mods can be installed. What I think is strange is that I run another SMF forum with TP on the same server...

Take a look at the manual install instructions in the Docs section Rovarn, if your TP folders are not showing up on the server then you may need to do a manual install.

Grrr... I did a automatic install via package manager on my other forum on the same server and I remember it was some issue with the ftp acount at that time, but I can't remember what I did to solve that... :uglystupid2:

I suppose I have to do a manual install.

I don't have time for this...  :'(

Grrrrr....  >:( It works with the Package manager if I chmod ALL folders and files to 777, but this can't be any good idea to run the site on?
:tickedoff:

On another testsite the manual install worked without chmod any files...  :'( I think I am going to sleep before I go totallllly nuts  :buck2:

Nope, tried exactly the same thing on a third forum on the same server, but neither the auto or manual install works there even if I chmod all folders and files to 777...

Now i am going down to the lake and take a bath, with a big stone wired to my neck...

777 is fine to install on as you can always chmod the files to 755 after you are done. You'll find a lot of arguements about the 777 issue being safe or not. I personlly only keep my attachements/smileys/packages folder 777. The rest is 755 except Settings.php which is 666. Its a personal preference thing.
