I had posted this on SMF forums untill they found out its a tp issue and asked me to refer it here.
After a restore to a newly installed forum i receive this as error each time a page is called on filling my error log with hundreds of error pages each day:
8: Undefined index: color
File: /home/content/b/c/l/bcleca/html/forum/Themes/default/TPortal.template.php (main_above sub template - eval?)
Line: 468
I was wondering if anyone knew a solution to fixing this. It errors like this on any TP page. However it does not if you look at the "profile" or "admin" pages which dont use the tp interface while veiwing them. Thank you for any advice.
If it happens on just about every page I'm inclined to think that its probably in your index.template.php file. Can you attach that file here?
Here it is. It showed no errors when I installed TP in the new account. The sql database restore showed none also.I havent had any problems with the forum in the 2 days so far other then having to clear the error log out since it gets into the hundreds of pages with this error.
I get that on a theme that I made based on Aero79, but using a set colour scheme. I think that the error is related to the removal of the alternate 'color' option. Unfortunately I haven't tracked down the specific cause or found a solution yet.
What theme are you using?
It happens on any/all themes, even the default.
Then perhaps the error is in a custom block or something.
Removed all blocks other then the ones that would show after a clean TP install. Still shows same error. :'(
Well it must be from another mod you have installed then. Because TP doesn't have anything to do with a 'color' index that I know of.
Im still trying everything to track the cause. If I uninstall TP, I get no more errors in the log. If I reinstall Tp it comes right back. Yet I get no *install* errors from TP when I reinstall it. It could be smf related but my smf install went without errors also and seems fine. I have never been this stumped or had a problem like this before. Could it be related to the sql database restore? I dont know.I even removed the 2 smf mods and all Tp blocks to no avail.
Are you using a WYSIWYG editor?
If you are try turning it off.
No, turned off.
Are you using a shoutbox?
If so turn it off.
Shoutbox was never turned on at anytime.
