TinyPortal

Hi guys,

i just need some help with my site and setting up the tinyportal.

I own the site www.pspmodify.com (tiny portal test subdomain is www.smf.pspmodify.com)
I have been trying to set up the site but am having great difficulty.

To start with the Tiny Portal is not currently showing in the admin panel. Please look at picture 1. It does not show when in the default theme or this one. Furthermore if you look at picture 2 you will see that i have it set to UTF8-English. Is there any way to fix this??

Two other things are to do with the theme. I am using the XD-3Dv1 theme. In picture 3 i have removed the flash logo but cannot get my own custom logo added. It is a .jpg file but i do not know the coding for it. I have attached the index.template.php with the flash coding in.
Furthermore there is some bugs with the submenus. This can be seen in picture 4.

Please help me. Don't worry if you can't but thanks in advanced if you do.

Go to your admin panel and in Server settings you will find Default Forum Language, change it to English and the text strings will appear. TP only installs the English text files for TP, if you want to use another language you have to copy the language files to the Themes/default/language folder.

That or read the FAQ at the top of this board. :o

i have done that twice, i have also reinstalled the site twice and no luck.

@ IchBin - i have looked in the FAQ and it says about the admin control panel and changing it to English-UTF8 which i have already done

IT doesn't say change it to utf8 english. It says to change it to english. My next question is, do you have this same problem in the default theme?

yes, i have tried all of the themes and it does not work for some reason???

i could make you admin if you could help that way please??

Ok, well all I did was go to Admin > Server Settings > Change english-utf8 to english and everything is working fine. I thought you said you tried this?
