Post by: fat4l 3rror on February 19, 2008, 03:07:37 AM
Anytime I Install a new TP theme. I have to edit all the things at the top of my forum that are in the defualt theme that I installed. Like store, contact, ect..

EDIT: Also, when I upload files that are like 9,000 kb's and the max is 40000 it still wont let me and tells me the max upload!

The short answer is yes.  ;)

However, some TP themes have built in support for some mods... make sure you have the mod actually installed before you turn on the support function for it in TP.

For the download size issue, don't forget that your host limits the size above all. Ask them what their limit is in the php.ini and if its 2MB can they up it for you.

If the TP sidebar is not showing you either downloaded the wrong version or you need to enable the TP option in the theme settings.

Mods only install a link or button to the SMF Default theme so you'll need to manually add your button as you already know... so the question is are you doing the correct edits?

Check out the how-to instructions on the page (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=9919.0) to see if it helps.

This is the kind of detail that you need to know how to do if you are to have a smoothly running forum, so stop being lazy and read the how-to.  ;)

Its really very easy to do.
