SMF version:
1.1.4
TP version:
0.9.83
Theme name and version:

Related Error messages:
When I apply the files in the package manager it shows the following message:

2. Extract Tree ./Sources
3. Extract Tree ./tp-downloads
4. Extract Tree ./tp-images
5. Extract Tree ./FCKeditor
6. Extract Tree ./wysiwyg
7. Execute Code tp_install.php
8. Execute Modification tinyportal09x-11x.mod Modification parse error
and if I press install (don't worry I backed it up) it shows this error message:
Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/www/zxq.net/s/m/f/smftest/htdocs/smf/smf_1-1-4_install/Packages/temp/./tp_install.php' (include_path='.:/usr/share/php') in /www/zxq.net/s/m/f/smftest/htdocs/smf/smf_1-1-4_install/Sources/Packages.php on line 552
I have all files set to 777 at the moment.
Thanks
Make sure there is a temp directory which is also chmodded to 777 in /Packages directory
googler, I just wanted to say thank you for following the posting guidelines. Let us know if Dragooons suggestion works.
there is a temp folder inside the packages directory and it is chmodded to 777
Do you have a problem with any other mods?
I did try to install a hover mod and it came up with a similar error when I applied the files
edit: yep got the same error with a notepad mod when I applied the files, any idea whats causing this?
no idea right now. At this point its out of the scope of TP support. The only thing I can suggest is that you head over to SMF. There's a sticky in one of the support boards on the package manager. Its about 50 pages long lol, but it has some great tips/tricks you can try to get around your package manager issue.
alright well thanks for your help ichbin
Try installing the "No Temp Directory mod' found on the mod site then installing TP.
That fix worked for many people.
