Is it possible to install TP so that the menu buttons are down the left hand side of the screen rather than across the top?

Some custom themes are designed with that kind of button/link arrangement... Scribbles2 (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=16908.0) is one of those.

TP installs as a package, as is.
The way the menu and other elements are displayed are theme related.
