yes i read the faq, did several searches, followed various leads but to no avail. did have a problem with installing smf and tp, but smf installed and seeing the msg's tp as well (after chmod entire dir to 777), but no tp block viewable and no forum tab. Tried different tp themes, language is english and files are utf8.

Admin/Configuration/Settings/ The language have to be set to use English only, not English_utf8
language is set on plain English,
all other files were a standard install, after reading post used the option of setting them on utf8 (didn't saw a change anyway)
Make sure you have all the language files added in the folders. In your case i would manually add them manually for both regular and utf8
Did you read the sticky post made by ZTN about the language issue ? several wayt to solve it there ;)
its a standard install, can't find english_utf at downloads and read all posts regarding language, file permissions etc. uploaded all files serveral times.
reread all faq's, suggestions, treads etc, still no luck wiht tp!! >:(

my fault sorry, forgot that asiancook.eu is on frame forwarding for the domain. Correct path is int the PM.
How did you install TP? I see it listed as installed, but no sign of it in the copyright or the admin panel.
I see only one language ISO English.
Also, I get a lot of errors when trying to uninstall TP, TP is your only package installed.

It looks to me like TinyPortal is not installed correctly.

I have a few computer problems of my own to deal with.
connection with the internet dropped suddenly for 2 hours, so i couldn't respond.
I'll try and install smf and tp fresh again
This time, do the install of TP manually.
1. upload all the files manually through FTP
2. Make the copy and paste of the code manually according to the modinsruction in the docs
3. Point your browser to the manual_tp_install-php file for the DB install
4. Make SURE you do everything to the DEFAULT SMF Core theme.
