Title: DigitalClock
Post by: Crip on January 19, 2008, 02:47:20 PM
This is a really nice Digital Clock, it looks best on dark "(black)"grounds -- simply download the Zip, UN-zip it & upload to your server.

Make a New Scriptbox / Block and add the script code below, adjust to your own WIDTH & HEIGHT!!!

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
    codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0"
    width="170" height="150" id="clock" ALIGN="center">
    <param name=movie value="http://www.yoursite.com/clockdigit.swf">
    <param name=quality value=high>
    <param name=bgcolor value=#fafafa>
    <param name=flashvars value="textColor=0xFF0000&showSeconds=1">
    <embed src="http://www.yoursite.com/clockdigit.swf" quality=high bgcolor=#000000 width="170" height="150" name="clock" align="center"
       type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"
       fashvars="textColor=0xFF0000&showSeconds=1"></embed>
    </object>

I can't read your mind, nor can I read your site files with the magic fairy dust I have here. If you want help you need to post a link to it. IF its the site in your sig, then it looks fine to me in both FF and IE.

How can I possibly know what is wrong by a picture? If want help, shouldn't you be  following the posting guidelines? You've been posting here long enough you know better, yet you leave the details out of your post again? How can you expect me to the be perfect support member here, when you're not the perfect member?

I believe the issue in question with platinumUWE's image/site is that there's a white boundary around the clock.
It's mentioned that it's good for dark backgrounds, but it seems to come up with white space above and below.
I just tried his site, and also installed on mine with similar results....white surrounding clock image.
If there's a way to work around it, to get black on black like the original posted image from Crip, that would be appreciated.

Any suggestions?
