I found it quite weird that no-one suggested this. A captcha for guest shots would be an awesome feature to stop those annoying spammers. Can anyone help me implement this?
spammer can type in captcha as well...u can't prevent members from spamming...now there was a bug in the past where u could change user name and "pretend" to shout as someone else....is this the issue? believe .9.8 fixed it
You have options like permissions to close the shoutbox from spammers.
Simply create a group with postcount and set it so the members must have atleast 5 or more posts made before they can use the shoutbox.
And please, when you post things like this, post in the correct forum so we dont have to waste up time moving things around.
What is this doing in News? :P
