Hello everybody,
is there any way to show the latest posts from a specific forum (feature of TP: Show forum-posts on front page from:) on front page and all its child boards?
Please follow the posting guide and you'll get lots better results.
Namely... do a search for your question and you'll find that this has been discussed before. ;)
Thanks for the reply. Can u please be a little more specific where I can find this little piece of information????? :idiot2:
:) :-X
Actually the whole point was to encourage you to read and follow the posting guide that is found at the top of this Support board. ;)
Using the search term, "show posts from child boards." returned several topics including this one... check it to see if it helps in your situation.

Changing up your search term should give off differing results so that at some point you will get an answer to your question. (most questions have been asked and answered many times)
If in the end you aren't able to find an answer post back and someone will help find one for you.
Thanks again. I 'll take a look at SSI.php and the relevant functions (ssi_board_news , ssi_recent_posts).
Hope I will get to some point.

Probably I need to insert a phpbox and paste some snipet on it.
I still like the default format of Tiny portal showing new posts on front page.
Hi again this is what I found

but I am still wondering if it's been implemented.
I think I need a little more help so that I will not end up doing sth that someone else has implemented before. Any ideas?
please see this post "here" (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=2620.new#new) thanks! ;)
