Hi i have just installed SMF 1.1.4 TP front page with SMF forums, but i really don't like the url i am getting in my browser instead of having www[dot]webmeistari[dot]lv/forums i have
www[dot]webmeistari[dot]lv/index.php?action=forum , how can i remove this index.php?action= bit and make it look nice and cleen how everyone else has ? Besides i have tried few other templates and they didn't have FORUM botton , only HOME so i couldn't navigate to FORUM etc, how can i get that stuff on and running? Any help highly appreciated!

TP takes the place of www.yourdomain.index.php unless you set it in the TP admin settings to go straight to the forum. I'm not quite sure I get what the issue is with you and this setting though.
If you couldn't navigate its because you didn't download the correct version of the theme that supports SMF with TP.
Also take a read in the stickies in the support board for FAQ's and the posting guidelines. Will save you and us some headache.
