I am currently using SMF 1.0.5 and TP .75. However when tp 8 is released public and I want to upgrade SMF to 1.1 RC2 should I update the forum or TP first. Or does it matter?
I will b-up all first I learned teh wrong way :-)

PS-has anyone tryed SMF 1.1 RC2 with TP 7.5 and there themes?

You will probably have to remove(uninstall) TP before you Upgrade/Update to SMF 1.1 RC2. Actually, I think you should uninstall ALL mods first.

Then you can just install TinyPortal v .8.0

And then install any TP SMF 1.1 RC2 Themes.

Then install any other mods you want.

i've never had to uninstall tp to upgrade smf, but i'm sure it helps ;) lol

For better, I think you need unistall TP & another features (mods) and backup database before process your upgrade SMF to new version

ELPVN <--- I've get some paid with this problem when try upgrade my SMF1.1RC1 to SMF1.1RC2 . I forgot unistall TPv.0.75 , I just install new TP v0.8_02... replace on it after upgrade SMF. Then now I've get a....begin to build new siteÃ,Â :uglystupid2:

same here... have tested allot of mods... wich need to be uninstalled before installing TP
still dont understand it totally... some do and some dont, I think has to do with code modifications wich TP install needs to find to add code, when it cant find this specific code it generates an incompatibel file in the installer...
