Post by: Zetan on December 22, 2007, 09:38:29 PM
I was running Coppermine in an iFrame reasonabally well but I want to use SMF Gallery for better integration, well for the life of me I cannot seem to incorporate SMF Gallery onto the portal front page, any help would be appreciated  :(

Have you looked through the Block Code Snippets board?

Yes I have used in the form of blocks in the side bars, but I am looking to get the SMF Gallery to show up on the actual FrontPage I used to use Coppermine in an article in an iframe and just put the article on the front page but this does not seem possible with the SMF gallery, so is there any other way other then a say page redirection?

The trouble with an iframe or an include command in an article (if it could be done that way?) is that both will pull in the entire page I think... that would give you two sets of all the link bars and whatever else those pages have in them.

Did you ask the gallery author about this over on SMF?

Actually I am just in the middle of triing out SMF Gallery Random Picture - ver. 1.7.1, seems to be a way around it for now.
