Hi!

Yesterday I installed the TinyPortal 0.9.8 database install to "prepare" my forum to the full installation after new year but now I have one problem, if I change the forum language to Portuguese and after I change MY profile to English the forum default language changes to English too...

How can I resolve this? This only starts after that installation...

I don't really understand what you have done, could you follow the post guide and repost please.

Ok, I'll try again, but with more detail

1) I downloaded this file: http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item743
2) I put this file on my forum/ folder and I opened that url http:www.blablabla.org/forum/manual_tp_install.php
3) After the 1) and 2) done, I notice that my profile language changed to Portuguese
4) I changed my profile language to English, but the forum language also changed to English
5) I tried to change the forum language to Portuguese again (on /index.php?action=serversettings) but that changed my profile language to Portuguese again.

I hope you understand better now ;)

The entire forum will follow your own settings for you in your profile.
The default langauge in the forum is set in the Admin/Configration/Server Settings.
So if you have English set in your profile everything will show as English for YOU only, the rest will have the forum default that you have set in the server settings

Sorry, but that is the problem!

I change in MY profile to English and AFTER I go to the Admin/Configuration/Server Settings and there is NOW with English too, that is the problem.

And if I change in the Admin/Configuration/Server Settings to Portuguese, my profile changes too, and this is not suppose to happen!

did you manually add the code edits to the files that this mod alters.  I did not see where you said you did this part.
