Is wrong with my site? Server keeps timing out. Disabled the firewall and all that other stuff. Still will not connect.... >:(

I have connected to your site just fine. If you're server is timing out, perhaps you have a custom block or something causing a problem. Or it could be the host having problems as well.
That happens to me once or twice a month for 2-6 hours with me and my host, I am on the other side of the world though ;)
But when I get access again I see members have made posts while I couldn't connect.
It came back up. Deleted all forums and shut the damn thing down.
Shut what down? You shut the site down? Or the SMF/TP shut it down?
The forum. Cannot shut the site down TinyPortal is hosting the site. But thats proably coming next. In next I mean canceling the hosting subscription. Fed up with this forum stuff......
Fair enough.. if it's not for you, quit it. Theres millions of forums and only a few of those are very successful.
I feel like quitting too sometimes.. maybe I will one day.
Don't give up just because the software is hard to understand, or because you are having a hard time with it.
It's meant to be fun, and it is when building a site.. building a good member base and content isn't so much fun and it's hard work.
Gotta tough it out till the domain expires. But it can sit, its not eating or drinking anything.

Probably for the best, based on your reaction. Until you establish your site, the administration and development of your forum will require time, resources, and above all, patience, as you progress to that point.
Thanks for the warning........my reaction was to the fact that I had a forum I could not get into that was what my reaction was too. And I will stop now before I say something I don't mean later.
Metalslam i do understand how you feel. I was left in charge of running a site, and one day, i couldnt connect to it.. i tried a few hours later, still nothing.. then i had a brainstorm, cuz i knew the site was up and going i could see it by my phone. So i ran a site for over a month and a half, by proxy alone.. the thing is if you get frustrated, yes, step down for a minuet, but if you have the will, and the ideas, and the desire to do this, (it isn't for just anyone, even tho it sometime appears that way) you will be back at it.. so take some time off, and get your stuff together on what you want and how you will go about it.. i wish you tons of luck, and there is tp, waiting for you if and when you decide to come back.. ;)
ps.. i could see your site too.. sometimes it isnt the hosting, it could be your internet, like it was with mine..
I would like to input on this . This is not a hosting issue. We host quite a few domains on the same server that you are on no one else is having any kind of connection issues. If this is something that is happening as often as you say it is why have you not put in a ticket so we can find out what is going on. We cannot help you if we do not know it is a problem. We did have a slight outage yesterday for a emergency maintenance problem from our upstream provider , and we did send out emails to let you all know what happened. I really do hate that you are not able to enjoy your forums the way you should be able to. That is what it is all about is having fun. If you do want us to help you with this please put in a ticket and we will assist you with finding a resolution to the problem. Tick.
