Title: How do you shorten articles/post

I write long articles. How do I shorten them...

I want half the article to show up in the post/article and have a link to go to the rest of the article.

That didn't work.

I am trying to do the following...

Write an article, then at the end of the article have a button or a word highlited that you will click that will take you to the rest of the story....

In wordpress it is more or rest of story

You could write the article in its entirety, then copy and paste whatever percentage of that content into a HTML/BBC block with a link to the article at the end.

Somewhat a long way to go just to get to the desired results, but I've had to do this for some special occasions where the intro just did not fit as I wanted.

I thought so too. The beauty of TinyPortal -> multiple ways to work a solution up.
