Title: question
Post by: CampCounselor on October 19, 2007, 07:25:57 PM
i was wondering because i have the permission to create custom error messages that my site would use instead of the standard one. my question is that if i would create these i would make them articles through tp. the only thing i want to show them is the top of my page and the article. (theme, logo, etc). I do not want them to see the left and right blocks. is this possible?

In this version you have access to there is no setting to choose where to show the panels. But in the next release (no time table to give for it) you have settings for what you ask.
In this version you have to go in to the source files for the action the page call for, and at the first global statment line, you add right under it,
tp_hidebars(); and the panels will not show on that action IE index.php?action=gallery or arcade or article page nr and so on.
For articles i dont think there is an easy way as they all uses the same source file for all page calles, so if you use this hidebars they will hide on all articles.

Im sure IchBin have some code to add inside the articke if it's a php article. If you if you give the time to let him check it out im sure he will find some useful code for you :)

That is between you and your ISP.

AFAIK a custom error page is an individual html file and articles are not.
