Title: Edit article - will not recognise HTML or PHP format and I just get a solid....
Post by: TGF_Ian on September 18, 2007, 07:35:40 AM
Block of text..

If I goto Edit Article, when I inster HTML code, or PHP according to the code selected, all I get is the text in an unformatted form, with no spaces, formatting etc.. such as you will see below...

When I edit the article as follows :

(https://www.tinyportal.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi66.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fh243%2Fmitac4614%2Fscreen1.jpg&hash=36586150870b569ddea3ee2bf3de540a908c3ab7)

I get this result on the home page :

(https://www.tinyportal.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi66.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fh243%2Fmitac4614%2Fblock.jpg&hash=e42542dde7580735dfe778fc723c34f9d50daaac)

As such, I am having to use a created center block, as follows :

(https://www.tinyportal.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi66.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fh243%2Fmitac4614%2Fscreen2.jpg&hash=d12f845fa7b4bcf5352d50e9becbf2589194d860)

to get this result,,

(https://www.tinyportal.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi66.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fh243%2Fmitac4614%2Fblock2.jpg&hash=6ff5445060b066f98f8a0beaf890b82df2f3fd22)

However, whenever anybody goes away from the home page, they have to collapse the blocks to see the Gallery,, forum or arcade etc,,

Any Ideas Please ??? :-\

Thanks

Ian

To get it to display properly you have to format it yourself. If you don't know how to write the html code enable a text editor in TinyPortal - General Settings and use that.

Do you have any other mods installed?
