Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me with this.
I have a block in my site which is to take php code, (its your standard TinyPortal phpblock) now, the current code in that block is
include("http://my_site/servinfo.php");
but the output which is the server stats for a Call of Duty 2 server, comes out with a pretty big font...
What would be the best way to edit the code or the block code for the text to come out smaller?
I've been reading in every site (this one included) and I've noticed that the function_phpblock() doesnt take echo...
And I've no idea on how to solve this problem otherwise.
Thanks
To edit the text you'll need to edit the code which outputs the text. Which, if I'm guessing right would be in the file that you include. :)
Thanks for the prompt reply IchBin.
Is there no other way to do it? Perhaps without having to edit the serverinfo.php?
If not, then its no problem at all. Thanks once more for your help!
I can't think of anyway to do it off the top of my head. If the styles and HTML are already set theres not much you can do about it. Whats the problem with editing the included file?
The file is shared between two websites. I link to it using the include, and I do not have access to it. However, in its original page the output text is smaller.
I guess it could be because of the way the original website is coded...
Here is the website http://nobsclan.com (they do not use SMF)
The block that I am copying is the one at the server information (bottom left)
And in my site http://yahaa.org/clan (with SMF and TP) its also the bottom left block, but the text is much bigger, I had to increase the block size so the text doesn't overlap.
edit: The included file is this one http://www.x2tech.net/nobs/servinfo.php
Maybe you can surround it with a div. But I don't think that will work.
echo '<div class="smalltext">';
include(yourfile.php);
echo '</div>';
See if that works. If not, you'll have to start using your own server script. :)
Well it accepts the code, but there is little change..
No matter, it works fine like this.
Thank you very much for your help.
I was just looking would it be the theme that is doing this, just my 2c worth
I hadn't thought of that. Possibly, I will take a look. Thanks
look at it in cityscape
Yep, looks smaller, thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into it.
