Just wanted to check if there was a repair_settings.php for TP.
Presently I get this error :
Unknown column 'art.shortname' in 'field list'
File: /home/denis/public_html/Philosophe/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 575
Note: It appears that your database may require an upgrade. Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.3, while your database is at version 1.1. The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.
How can I fix this?
Thanks
Denis
you can get the Upgrade.php from SMF. It's in the SMF download files.
Extract, upload the Upgrade.php to the root.. Public HTML.. and point your browser to it
http://yoursite.com/upgrade.php
Remove the file when finished.
I have a feeling it won't make a difference to the error.
We dont have a repair_settings.php for TP, TP will follow SMF repair_settings.php
But if you are looking for a repair for your DB you can use the manual_tp_install.php database only file from our downloadsection
And the error you are getting is just what Zetan say, you need to upgrade your SMF database.

Well I upgraded the SMF database but now I have this porblem
Unknown column 'shortname' in 'field list'
File: /home/denis/public_html/Philosophe/Sources/TPortalAdmin.php

Anyone as an idea of what is wrong?
Thanks
You need to upgrade the SMF tables with the sql files from the big SMF upgrade package.
Do a bit of search and you will find what to do.
That is what I did. I downloaded the 1.1.3 updrade.zip. I unziped it, transfered the three upgrade files : upgrade.php, upgrade_1-0.sql and upgrade_1-1.sql.
I then pointed to upgrade.php and the upgrade went fine.
I will make more research.

What I finally did was revert to previous version of smf, uninstalled TP, upgraded SMF, installed TP98 and used a saved DB backup. And it worked.
Thanks for your help
I am not quite sure why but it did. O:)
