Title: Multiple portal workaround
Post by: G6Cad on September 07, 2007, 11:19:04 PM
If i understand you correctly you can more or less do you own pages as you whish right now, but you have to code them your self and add them as pages in TP.
It's been a while since i used TP V098 so i cant remember if the pages funktion is built in there, or if it was implemented in the V1 that Bloc working on right now.
But eather you can d your custom pages and name them the way you described or it will be there in the next release.
I know that a few of Blocs new themes have the fnction built in them right now though.

I think i have to install a new testforum with TP V098 so i can keep things straight again  ::)

BlueSkies, Breeze, Novelty, Prometheus, Scribbles, Scribbles2.
They have the Custom. News and TP in the header where you can add your own pages and code them up like the frontpage on this site with PHP.
It will require some knowlage on how to code though.

8-Ball, you do not have permission to remove the TinyPortal copyright notice in the footer of your site, or the theme author who I'm guessing is Bloc.

Please put the copyrights back in place!

whoops, i didnt mean to. I had to manually add support for tiny portal into my skin you see so i obviously forgot to include the copyright  :'(

Theme author isnt bloc tho.

Il put em back soon (working atm)

Sorry about that, and thanks for telling me :)

I understand. If you do a search, you can find details on how to call the latest version of TinyPortal and add it to your themes.
And whoever the author of the theme is should be included. If you are the author, you can if you wish add it to the footer.

Thanks.

Here's the link to the same theme that you currently have in use on your site.
http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=10880.0

You really do need to add the copyrights back in if you expect to continue receiving help here.

As Ken. suggests, you need to put the proper copyrights back in your theme before we'll continue here.

Just look in the doc section and the modification part in the index.template.php file. Add the same to your theme.

I sent one of you a pm, its back.

I explained why it wasnt in there in the first place too. It wasn't done on purpose or with malice, it was just a forgetful mistake.

We have been in PM contact regarding this.. And as far as I can tell, it's an oversight.

We'll sort it :)
