Title: Format How a quote is displayed
Post by: insanemustang on August 22, 2007, 03:31:53 AM
I want to be able to format a quote.  Not a quote from a specific post, but say for example if I copy/paste something from another place I make a quote and then a link.

Example:
QuoteHow do I format background in here?

I tried to use the search, but having the word format in my search brings me 6 pages of results.  The problem I have is that my BG is the same bg as the quote BG, so I want to change it.

Thanks

This would be a question for SMF to give you the answer to.

You're right G6, sorry about that.  I do my best to keep this where they should go, and to use the full functions of each website, but the SMF guys are so terrible at support I'd rather pay someone to help me than go there lol

Ich, Thank you sir

Your welcome! But I'd like to know what makes you think the SMF support guys terrible?

They take too long to reply for me.  If I have a problem, I don't need a solution 12 days from now, I need it in a reasonable time frame.

You guys always do a great job with that

you are not the only one waiting for a reply to a question for support. And in my case, it's quite important for our forum:

You'll have to be patient like me.. frustrating as it is.. and I'm sure if it was a simple fix, I would have had a reply.. It may be simple, but it's beyond me at this time.
