Title: Showing Forum Posts on "Front Page"
Post by: bogosilentsong on August 20, 2007, 05:08:22 AM
Is there anyway to sort the forum posts shown on the front page in a different way other than by date?

Manually sort them perhaps?

I have my forum posts linked to my TP front page but I also have all visual details a normal TP article has [ie writing comments, replies, view]. Is there any way of getting rid of some of these details or is it published by default?

You can probably omit certain details from the array. I'm not sure what you are using to display. Is it a TP default option? If it is, I would leave it alone and maybe look in the Block Codes Snippets board as that has code you can use and edit that will not affect TinyPortal.

Well in the TP settings, we can choose "Forum-posts and articles - sorted on date" in the front page settings then choose the board we want to display but doesn't give you any other options that I can see. Or am I missing something?

You're not missing anything. Those options aren't built into it yet.
