First off - the more I use tiny portal the more impressed I am with its flexibility and variety of uses. It really makes smf out perform all other forums. I wanted to add a live help block. I used the free php scripts from http://www.craftysyntax.com/ (http://www.craftysyntax.com/) and installed them as per norm - the script also gives you the Java code to enter into a script block. What could be easier and it works. Now my members have access to live help as I have found a lot of yahoo type users are having a hard time with the transition and this makes the whole forum that much more professional.  Cheers Rockyrails.
I added a screen shot of the members area - guests get a different menu and images - thanks again to tiny protal - gotta looooove it.

PS - the menu I use is another script block and just pasted the html code created in go-live using menumachine. I added  2 pics showing the extended menu's - the center image also rotates each time the page is loaded thanks to this forum.
