Title: Errors with Neptune_TP Theme
Post by: oneway on August 12, 2007, 03:48:06 AM
I have 2 errors (1.1.3 and 0.98)! First, the Shout Box gives me an error message: "Your session timed out while posting. Please go back and try again." As I'm signed in forever, this message is a problem I don't understand. I tried logging out and back in, but no change. Won't work on SMF default either, with an error 406 message.

Second I get "Done, but with errors on the page" on each of the only 3 threads I've setup to date. But no error messages with SMF default, so this is a Neptune_TP fault??? Site is here (http://b-blest.twm.cc).

Thankyou for your time!

You have a test account that we can test shouting with? Not sure about the javascript error though.

Go ahead and shout IB! remembering that I'm down here in Oz, so you may have to shout pretty loud, okay! lol)

What's the javascript error - post pages I presume? Neptune_TP theme doesn't give any errors when I use it to post on TinyPortal, if that's any help... *probly isn't*

EDIT. Feel free to register if you wish, and you can have access to the forum if that's any help. (I found 2 graphic file errors in the package - one was missing, the other wrongly named. I'd say I have a different version to the one on Tinyportal.)

Hmm... after losing my previous modified forum based on Epsilon, cos of it's problems with IE7, it's begining to look like I may have shot myself in the foot starting again with Neptune_TP - another older theme that may not be fitting in with 1.1.3 and 0.98. Yet this theme is working on Tinyportal... Maybe an updated version??? Does anyone know, or can help please?

I think you should just give up. :P Just kidding. Can't say what is wrong oneway. I just reg'd at that site to see the error. My only thought would be that maybe the subdomain is causing this problem. Do you have it set in SMF to use subdomain independent cookies? Try that and see if it works I suppose.

Dang, JRW (friend) said better not to use a sub-domain. I wanted one so used one! Double dang!! Thanks for tryin' for me, IchBin, you're a real trooper! I'll do what you said for cookies if I can find where it is.

I'm gonna put Christmas2006 on and see if it behaves. If it doesn't, I'll probably shoot myself! *kidding* How do I get myself into these things, that's what I wanna know?... ::) Flippin' themes, and their #^&*@! problems! :tickedoff: Did I say, 'Dang?' *wry smile* :knuppel2:
