Hello
I have a fresh install of SMF 1.1.3 with SMF SHOP mod installed. When I try to install the Tinyportal
package, it says (all the other ones are okay):
10. Execute Modification /home63c/sub009/sc39368-WKWS/www/Themes/default/index.template.php Test failed
Could someone with the latest Tinyportal installed on their 1.1.3 post their index.template.php-file, so that I can use that one?
I can't uninstall the shop mod because the uninstall procedure fails :( anyways, hoping to start using Tinyportal, it looks stunning
You can manually modify the index.template.php with the Tiny Portal code.
yeah - but that's a great load of work - it would be a lot easier if someone supplied the file
I've looked through the modifications and that file is *heavily* modified
it wouldn't be of any hurt to anyone to provide such a modified index.termplate.php of the default theme
We don't supply 'pre-made' files to replace your SMF files because that would be considered distribution of those SMF files and that must only be done by the SMF site.
And... doing a manual install is a great way to learn to work with your SMF/TP files and that's something that you really need to know how to do so that you can keep your site running smoothly.
QuoteI've looked through the modifications and that file is *heavily* modified
If you have a heavly changed index.template.php file, what good would it be if we provided one with the changes in it to work with TP ?
We dont know what changes you have or what mods you have installed to make that for you.
Also we have got a strict rule that we dont post SMF files in this forum, the index.template.php is their file, and we are not allowed to post it in here, even with our own changes to it.
The manuall install documentation have all the info you need to make the edits to your file, for you it would be easier to change then for us as you know what you have in your forum.
okay sweet - I will peruse the manual install documentation
as for my "heavily modified" I meant that it the tinyportal mod heavily modifies index.template.php
but anyways, thank you for your attention people
