Hey,
I have searched all throughout the forum and FAQ's trying to find this problem, but I can not find anything close enough to it.
I have done a half and half install (I used the package manager), but I uploaded my index.template.php file once I fixed it up since it failed the test.
The problem I am getting now is this:
Table 'new1.smf_tp_variables' doesn't exist
File: /home/.mondale/kaze6689/animesharing.org/forum/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 92
Which basically means none of the databases were created.
So I ran the manual database install, but got this error:

download the manual tp install DB file only and upload it to your forum root and run the file from your browser.
That Is what I did...
I downloaded:
QuoteTinyPortal 0.9.8 database install
From the downloads tab, which then gave me the file "manual_tp_install.php"
And the long list of code there is the error it gives me when I try accessing it via my browser. That is why it is so confusing. (I have read countless posts)
You must upload the file to the same folder you have the forum and TP installed to.
Another way is to download the complete manuall install package and extract and upload the files from it to your forum folder, then point the browser to manual_tp_install.php
Yep, I had it in my root folder.
SMF already installed everything that is in the manual package (the full one). But I just keep getting the same error when I try to use the manual_tp_install.php.
I have a feeling that It may have something to do with the sql coding, but if it has worked for almost everyone else then I am not too sure why it is doing this.
BTW, this is on a dreamhost server if that helps.
Download a new TP_zip, un-zip it and re-zip it using the same zip name..run it through package-manager..
..it works sometimes..& clean your cookies & cache..be sure to use to be using SMF Default theme.
Yep, I have always switched back to the default theme but nothing...
I tried re-zipping it, but still no luck :( (this is getting annoying now).
Does anyone else have any ideas ?
