Title: Links in Articles
Post by: Tam on July 31, 2007, 10:48:45 PM
Hi. I have several articles linked to a menu. I would like to add links associated with individual articles, either inside the article itself or in a block underneath the article. I tried using a script block and got it working, but it shows up on top of the article. I want it below. Any suggestions?

Tam if you are only running one article and one block on the page you can try setting the article to 'featured' to see if that will get you to where you want to be.

Also in your TinyPortal>Settings>Front Page screen you can try "Featured article and front page blocks" to see if that sets them the way you want.
There are several settings in that screen and some combination should give you the desired result.

Thanks, Ken. I gave those a try, but I am looking to have links on pages that are not on the frontpage. I've set it up so that each link on the menu bar takes you to a different page(article) and on some of those I would like a link added that is specific to the individual article and I want them below and centered.

Maybe this isn't a possibility. Or maybe I am not setting my site up right.  :idiot2:

Hey, I figured it out. While in edit article mode, I viewed source and pasted the html code in. Worked like a charm. Thanks for your help.
