Hi
I install TP with SMF 1.1.3
but note :
when I select the option
Forum-posts and articles - sorted on date
no Article shown except the Article that came with TP as default announce article
when I select the option
Only articles
all things are going ok

In your Article Manager control panel you can turn off the TP welcome article if you don't want it to show.

As for any other articles that you do wish to display on the front or home page here are some things to check:
Make sure that the 'Article is active' and set to 'Show on front page'.
Check to see if you have your article set as featured, this is a very useful tool and should cause your article to be on the front page before any other article, however in some cases it may cause other articles to not show up depending on how all of your other options are set.
In your Admin>Tiny Portal>Settings>Front Page... look at all of the settings to see if any changes need to be made there... if you only want the one article showing then set it to Only articles.

For your forum posts:

If you want to show those on the front page along with your article try this:
Admin>Tiny Portal>Settings>Front Page> place a check in Forum-posts and articles - sorted on date & also in Normal, frontblocks are shown alone.

In the Admin>Current Theme> control panel enter the number of posts

You may need to do a little trial and error with these settings to get it to work out the way you want it.
